Aftermarket handlebar control switches

Hello guys,

I’m interested to replace the stock switches to a sporty nicer switches like in photos attached.

Anyone did it/have experience with these?
They have some ready plug and play for Ducati 1098 and Aprilia models…
I would like to get the switch unit that will be plug and play rather than start playing with the wires.

The question is, which bike model(Ducati/Aprilia)used our exact switches so I can buy the plug and plug for that model and make the replacement much easier?

This right side switch goes straight on the Brembo master cylinder instead of the clamp which is very cool!

That’s for sure.
I contacted the manufacturer and waiting to hear what he have to say, I have also asked him if these are Canbus as @kommando replied and if it is possible to play with the wires to fit it to any bike… If he can’t find a way for a plug and play I think I will pass on the idea. If I will decide to go with it then I will use a motorcycle electrician to do it.

Putting rainbow colors on a modern classic looking bike would look odd and out of place to me.

Motogadget have nice switches but there are much better and nicer compact design switches from other brands, the problem is that all their switches requires an electronic push-button control unit which is ok if you are building a customized bike from start.

For the rainbow colors on the switches, it is customizable and you can ask them to put all black buttons or red for kill and green for start for example. And anyway they give you spares so you can put what ever color you want…

In the past few years most of the customized bike builders are installing on the Caffe Racer or any other classic bike that they build the best and most modern parts and technology and it looks absolutely amazing!!!

Exactly why I said if your going to do custom wiring to use the motogadet.

Switches attached.
There is tape on the clip ons so they will not scratch because location of the Brembo and the switches is not yet determined as they need to move a little bit on the clip handle…

Yes but it requires an electronic push-button control unit and I don’t want to get into that…
I’m waiting for some answers from a few brands, if it is complicated then I will pass on the idea.

I know this. Once again I said “IF ONE IS GOING TO DO WIRING WORK” 🤣

You want something more basic or plug n play.


On another thread you said you were wanting to eliminate gauges and make things clean and minimal.

You could also go with a single gauge that provides all the information you need such as speed, rpm, oil psi, etc. all on one gauge. And you guessed it, made by motogadget lol.

I understood you but as I said I’m not interested to go into wiring work, if it will be required then I will pass the idea and stay with the stock.
I will not eliminate one gauge from the two we have but I wish it came only with one…

Some Domi racers had a single gauge. All you need is a tachometer. It can also be used as a speedo. Once you know the RPM and in which gear you’re in, you can measure mph / kph.

Example:
If you’re in 5th gear at 2500 rpm and if that’s 50 mph, it’ll always be the same.
Or you could use your phones gps as your Speedo.

Yes I know, and Stu also have only one…

I want to enjoy the ride, not to do calculations while I’m riding😂

I’m ok with the two gauges just wished it came with one as I said…

Ok same as mine. I believe they sell these as Universal and not bike specific so I cant find any OEM bike other than ours with them on.
Still not a deal breaker. I'd look to see what connector we have on our switch gear and work backwards from there. Once you know what type connector you can configure whatever way you want without messing anything up from the factory
