Its all under control will be getting 2 legs a training leg to learn to walk again and a normal leg for everyday walking which will be the best on the market, made of titanium with heel and foot movement as well full knee movement and all, I even get to pick the colour and graphics design of my choice all paid for by the CTP insurer of the other party, just waiting for the quote to be approved by the insurance company and the mould be made for my stump and new training leg made, takes about 2 weeks to be made and once I can walk again without help my other leg will be made for everyday use, it all takes time, but I be back on 2 legs soon and walking again.
The mower man has been approved so my jungle is getting mowed tomorrow and he be doing the mowing every 2 weeks after that, till I get my leg and walking again and get back to normal of me doing my own yard work again.

My backyard jungle has been mowed and the whole yard is looking good again, no more tripping up while on our crutches, about fu cking time, was becoming a dangerous situation for both Debra and myself and they be doing the yard every 2 weeks now as coming up to winter the grass grows a bit slower, I be back doing it by next summer, should be walking on two legs by then.

Is a backyard jungle hazardous? I got the impression that everything in Australia bites and a lot of the bitey things are poisonous. Long grass sounds like a great environment for spiders & snakes...

It's all baloney, to keep the gorgeous country from being over-run with idiotic tourists!

Yes we do have some of the deadliest creatures in Aus, but hey leave them alone and they will leave us alone unless you try to kill them or go swimming in croc infested waters or surf the waves early in the morning or late in the afternoon when its feeding time or in areas where their main meals live (seals), I been camping in the bush all my life and so far have only in counted a few poison snake that can kill you, as for spiders I love them and never try to get rid of them around my house, keeps the mozzies at bay, its very rare that people here get killed by any snake or spider bites, yes it happens but very rare, maybe I am saying too much as scaring idiotic tourists is the aussie way, but our biggest dangerous creature is the drop bear, ask any aussie, they will tell you.

scary critters by all accounts Ash…said to drop from trees onto unsuspecting people… they are described as large, vicious marsupials with sharp claws and teeth…

Put vegemite behind the ears will stop them attacking, drop bears don't like the smell of vegemite, why do you think all true aussies love their vegemite, keeps us safe while in the bush.
