is an Atlas clutch pushrod the same length as a Commando?

No, IIRC the Commando clutch is shorter.

It is entirely based on the trans main shaft type.
But I'm showing g 9-21/32 for my friends manxman? just took it out of the bike and measured
commando 9-3/4 (24/32) from my 88SS with commando shaft for belt drive
Hope I didn't mix them up.
Sorry for confusion, but I knew they were different. My 650SS came with a Commando push rod and it caused all kinds of problems before I figured it out. It was so many years ago I misrembered which was the longer one.
