Commando with VFR750 Fork/brake Conversion

I just found out the Landsdowne damper does not eliminate "the fork clunk." So I'm back to researching.

I am running Landsdowne internals and my forks don't clunk at all as well I fully up graded my front brake with a full Grimica brake system from RGM that was over 15+ years ago, one finger operation if I want too and the front brake on my Norton is as good as my modern front brakes that was on both my 2013 Thruxton (single front disc) and my 2016 Thruxton (twin front disc), but then I am not a heavy brake user and very rarely use my brakes while up in the tight twisties, but then my Norton is built for lightness, handling and performance up in the mountain ranges where I ride it hard, but I very rarely use my brakes hard while riding mostly for stopping lol.

The fix is longer top bushes, this fixes the mistake made by the engineers who instead of using the space between the top and bottom bush as a hydraulic soft stop used the damper on the end ofvthe damper rod hitting the underside of the damper body top. Longer top bushes restore the hydraulic soft stop.

I think I foubd a spoked dual rotor wheel that will work with the VFR750F forks. It requires new bearing inside the wheel to accommodate the VFR axle and off course new spacers.

I didn't have to go far to find it. It was in my shop this whole time. A Suzuki GT500 wheel set. I need to check on the brake rotor spacing though.
