Does a Tri Spark run on a positive ground/earth system?

A new member of our Norton Club is rewiring his (new to him) '71 Commando. He wants to run LED lights and a Tri Spark. He thinks he needs to switch to negative ground in order to accomplish both of these aims. Another member (electrical engineer) and I are trying to help. We both assured him that LED lights are available for positive ground Nortons, but neither of us can give a definitive answer on Tri Sparks

Tri-Spark has instructions for either earthing scheme, and also rotation in either direction. I’ve got LEDs in most locations on my positive ground bike and they work just fine.

Keep it simple and use the positive earth leds and TriSpark. Why risk screwing things up by rewiring.

I believe the problem was "ignorance." Ignorance is correctable and has been corrected, with good results. On the other hand "stupidity" is not correctable, and may be diagnosed by the sufferer continuing to do the same thing which didn't work the first time.
