I finally bought a set of tires. They should arrive next week. Hopefully by next weekend I’ll have an actual roller!

I’ve read that I need to put a piece of duct tape over the spokes inside the rim to protect the tube, is that correct?
 
I’ve been doing a lot of reading and watching YouTube videos on painting with a rattle can. I may paint it myself. I’ve taken the fender and seat off and I’m doing some wet sanding. The tank actually came out great. I’m going to spray a clear coat over it, wet sand it and polish it and see how it comes out. But first I need to coat it with caswell seal coating. It’s fiberglass and I know the issues. Since this is my fun bike, I’m going to try to use non-ethanol gas. But I’ll still coat it.
 
I would use the rubber strips that go over the spokes, duct tape will create a mess and smash down more than the rubber strips. Just my opinion.
 
You can get the logo's in black with gold edging or vice versus. I think that would look good with red.
 
Black letters w/gold edging sounds hot on red. I'd have to proposition that lady if I met her on the street.... Oh... We're talking bikes.... Still.

Let the booing begin.

I THINK I’m caving. I’ve been looking at production racer after production racer and I think I’m going peril yellow.

I know I know, red is cool, red makes it my own; but there’s a reason these are all yellow...they’re Really cool!!!
