Gear box swarf

Gear box drain plug length
Hi all first post, I just wondered if anybody knows the thread length of the gear box oil drain plug , as I would like to replace it with a magnetic one to catch any nasties. Cheers Mark 2016 961 sf 2150 miles MUT 57

What would you expect?

I've worked on Ferrari's (restoration workz) they are state of the art too...yet they are not dimensionality perfect from one to another either...It may of been a wire brush.
Best to catch the metal and not let it circulate

With my new cell phone plan ( read cheaper) , I cannot call overseas .

I know I’ll get in trouble for saying this, but I really don’t care about them or what they’re doing or their future anymore.
And it’s not because of the lack of spares. It’s because of everything. To me, they failed at all attempts. Sorry if I offended anyone, that’s just my personal opinion of them.
I know Stephen is having a panic attack reading this right now and I know I’ll hear from him about it. Oh well.

No I really meant it.
Really, sound like BS to me, fine wear particles yes, but chunks no. The quality control does not sound good, and from their reply it sounds like it is common problem they know of.
