How I finally got my primary chaincase cover leak free !

On a related subject - I have no more leaks on my 75 MK III primary side after installing a Cometic gasket. They make gaskets that are popular with NASCAR, hot rod and newer motorcycles builders. They are made with a a thin layer of aluminum with rubber bonded to each side. It is no thicker than a cork gasket. It is installed dry and can be reused.
The gasket is not listed on their website but they will make one for you if you contact them regarding the 850 MKIII.
