It's Christmas. What did you and yours get?

We were very lucky and after being so good, received a new pazon Altair and a pair of JS ccarbs. Not allowed to go out and fit them yet though.. Need to do it before the boxing day run though... Merry Christmas to all you lucky commando owners.. Remember they're for life, not just Christmas.....

Dang, do you open everything at midnight?

I got a 72 Combat and a pair of JS Carbs. My wife bought me the Combat...which was delivered 2 months ago....but the JS Carbs are going on the bike tomorrow. Woohoo!

Better than getting up early.... Just need to sneak out now and fit them... Then wake the neighbours. And believe me they deserve it.....

Got nothing bike related. instead, we're going to visit friends in kansas. She's had brain tumor treatment and will be undergoing chemo after Christmas; he's drifting away with Alzheimers.

So, we're abundantly thankful that we are healthy and well with a house full of kids and grandkids.

...bikes are secondary.

A set of RGM alloy yokes showed up this morning, thanks much to our own hobot. Now to find time to fit them, that could be a while.

Marry Xmas All

We have all been up for a few hours now, the kids got a new Ebox, the wife a new camera, and I brought myself and my Norton a Lansdowne Dampers kit, fitted them last weekend, , with a few days riding and setting the dampers to my styel of ridding the front end is working the best it has ever as well a new Avon front tyre what else could I ask for, I will give a report on how the bike is handling in the next few days.

All the best to everyone and ride safe.

Ashley

I will be looking for a few spares, 2012 calendar, Motorcycles Classics subscription, tee shirt and hat. Stuff like that.

Merry Christmas to all,
Peter

Hi all, Santa bought me a hangover (not even wrapped)courtesy of a 24th party here onboard the Normand Clough in dry dock in Singapore!!!!!!
looking forward to getting home to get the goodies unpacked , a pair of dampers from Lansdowne!!!
merry Xmas Mike

I am personally grateful for everyone's health & safety. For me, it might be new handlebars like on CNW #76. So there.

I picked up my motor and gearbox yesterday from the shop for my 74 Commando. I won't be ready for the most improved, but there is always next year!! Merry Christmas to all!

Not much for me, just a spoke wrench, primary chain measuring tool & a NOS R.H. handlebar dip-switch cluster. Merry Christmas Norton enthusiast's!!

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays fellow Nortoneers! Even though we sometimes boast there are 365 riding days here in Florida, we actually do get temps in the 30's and 40's in January and February. Accordingly, Ms. Claus placed leather riding pants under the tree last night...now there's no excuse not to get out when weekend cold fronts arrive.

I went for a short ride Saturday, it's supposed to be even warmer today, so I may try it again. What a Christmas, it should be like this every year!!!

Santa is being very generous here in Oceanside, in Southern California.

Woke up this morning with warm sun, clear blue skies, and mountain roads awaiting. Today's high will be about 75 degrees F. The Mark 3 is in the driveway, pointed in the right direction and waiting for me.

Doesn't get any better!!!

Keith

It's Christmas..

Barend mirrors. These are the Cat Eye ones. For bicycles, I think. Plastic and about $6. Hopefully they won't flop around. And I won't cry when the first one breaks off.

Woke up this aft. with a hangover from the Xmas eve. Reveiller gathering involving wines and Tortiere Quebecoise (meat pies). Alma gave me a gift certificate for all the Negra Modellos I can drink on the rooftop bar of the Holiday Inn in Downtown Mexico City overlooking the Zocalo with the world's largest flag below us. She got a gift certificate for 20 minutes go-carting the new track overlooking our skyline with C.N Tower. Big feast this eve.

Well fitted the Altair and she runs GREAT!! Ready for the boxing day run to Wickham Square..had a good day playing in the man cave, listening to my other present. Pink Floyd Discovery....... 14 studio albums of the best band ever..... Don't know which p........d the neighbours off most, the wonderful sound of a vertical twin or Floyd at full volume... Last ride of the year coming up, leathers warming up ready for an early start... To all fellow Commando owners seasons greetings....
