Keep Right

Yep, the old guy isn't riding. Although Valentino wouldn't go round there that fast, no run off and not enough spectators. :)

I would never attempt to ride a modern bike on any race track. I'd be certain to go into at least one corner too hot and deck myself. These days I don't go anywhere near crashing. The little do is easy for me.

I'd be impressed with that run even if it was a 30 year old rider doing it.

Close, I think this is actually 33 y.o. Andy Carlisle who is the current lap record holder. I think he was having a laugh with his dad.

Check out this other clip dicing with a hopped up M3

Autobahn is more than sufficient. Drove my son's S5 Audi all the time wishing I was on his Foggy Ducati...

When I was a kid, I rode in practice sessions which had both cars and bikes. When you are riding a bike fairly fast, you sometimes need to look behind you. Where you normally look is at about shoulder height, you don't look down towards the area behind your rear wheel. I did that once and found an open-wheel racing car there. They are much quicker in corners.

Big fast race circuits such as Phillip Island feel fantastic, but any crash is a biggy. Plenty of young guys go there and have really big get-offs. To get some motorcycles to go around high speed bends, you need to keep accelerating.
