Ms peel and Trixie for sale on Facebook

Well guys I'm the lucky one that bought the bikes. I placed a call to Billy and we made the deal. I saw the post about 9:00 am and was on the road at 10:45 am. Wife went with me, I ended up driving till 3:00 am the next day and that made it about an hour and a half from his place. Super nice guy that also has motorcycles as well and was asked by another person if he wanted to buy the parts. He didn't know Steve but was the one that put up the Facebook post. I'll put up some pictures soon.

He spent years working on that bike, invested every dime, still far from finished,
and the way he intended to use it, it wouldn't have lasted a week..
I was very surprised that the engine was never started, and although the outside of the gearbox looked old it's new on the inside. Wish I knew that as I took the outer cover off and wonder if I can get indexed proper? I'm also wondering if the blower was even used. The only nuts and bolts that were tight were the ones on the engine, all others were finger tight.

There are more threads on this by Steve buried in the forum, but here’s a good one. It also shows Steve’s rather unique ideas with regards to styling.

That knife on there cut Billy in a bad way, made me feel bad.

I'm still having problems with posting pictures, it won't take my file type. Use to be easy. I have both bikes torn apart and am cleaning them up. Going on vacation this Tuesday and will try again when I get back, It's getting cold around here and I need some warmth. LOL

Is it file type or file size?
I always knock mine back to about 500Kb (PNG or JPEG)

What rob said. If you are trying to post raw files out of a camera just convert them to jpeg. Drag and drop jpegs into the message box using Insert image for VIP members. Don't pay any attention to the thumbnail image below the larger one in the message box editor. The thumbnail image will go away when you post. If you delete the thumbnail, the image you want to post goes away. That got me a few times early on. If that makes no sense it might later.

Hello again, Almost done cleaning everything up. Lots of stuff is bent, crushed or modified in ways I can't understand. Some of the things make no sense in that there are wires going everywhere. Also oil going to the frame and swingarm and some contraptions I can't figure out , a submarine with a little guy in it. The thing looks like a toy and it has two gauges on it and also another gauge on what I think might be a filter. I just took everything apart to see what I have, good news is the Maney motor has never been started and the gearbox is new. I also started mocking things up to see how things fit, the swingarm is bent so it's probably trash. The frame on the other bike looks ok and the swing arm on it is ok. Almost all the fittings for the motor had to be enlarged a size, to 7/16". One thing I can't figure out is the inner primary has been modified to fit the Maney cases, and how I now mount the alternator??

Thanks guys, I have one of the newer ones but it's bent. I wonder how hard it is to bend them back??

Yesterday I went to a horde of Norton parts and the fellow had a Druin in a box supposedly brand new (20 or 30 years ago) and a Quaffe 5 speed trans for sale approx $3500 apiece. Lots of other stuff too.
