Bit of a none issue for most of us mate - the Norton’s a keeper! Foibles‘n’all!Regardless of TVS Norton. The down side is, it’s killing the value of the Donington bikes. Whether TVS Norton does good or bad, the resale value of the Donington bikes are in the crapper.

I don't know to be honest....the rerelease 961 doesn't exactly offer much choice for the purchaser ie black or silver, high or low bars. Nothing like the SE's cool carbon wheels, the Dominators aggressive stance or the Commando Streets 70s muscle bike feel.

For those of us who have a Commando SF, Sports and Cafe, all you need to do is look at the prices of the ones that sold, and the ones that been listed for sale and haven’t sold.
Once again. “You”. You’re thinking of yourself. Most everyone is keeping them, but not “everyone”. And someday, they’ll all be sold or for sale.
Mines going on 9 years old . I see what you mean though , they would really want to have one to buy it. Lets hope TVS does us a good turn and make our parts and service a reality and this could help save us .
But buy it at what cost? That’s the problem.
Paul, who just bought a new Norton, sold his 13,000 miler SF within two days. Advertised for £10,999, sold for £10,295.
And what a good deal that buyer of the well cared for 961 is getting.
How much depreciation are you considering to be normal for these motorcycles ? And after the hammering we took with the Donington debacle ? My opinion is that values will stabilize and then go up again. When people see how nice your bikes are Voodooo , they will want them ! I will look at it this way , my bike if well cared for will retain a considerable amount of value. Especially if TVS get the parts action plan going. This means in 10 more years , the 961 will have been in production for 20 years !
And please remember that a TVS 961 is not cheap to buy either ...
Pretty sure the SF in 2014 was around £16k.
I think like anything, it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay.
I haven't tried recently . I feel like reaching out again when I have a list together .
