Good point V2D3. The dealer fitted the reservoirs during a service and for some reason used a genuine Rizoma mount for the clutch reservoir but the original 961 bracket for the front brake reservoir. He reshaped the original mount to get it to present correctly and no doubt weakened it considerably as a result - vibration would do the rest. Gonna fit the same Rizoma mount on both sides - should sort itAs good as they look, I think the added weight adds even more stress to the bracket as it’s a known problem with the plastic reservoirs.
Perhaps a rubber washer between the bracket and the perch clamp to help with some of the vibration
I was braking quite hard for a T-junction at the bottom of a hill - red light at the last decision moment. If my front brake had failed, I may well have ended up as a really expensive hood ornament!
