Red turn signal lenses

Does anyone know if the round Lucas turn signals, as used in the early seventies, were ever offered with red colored lenses? I would like to convert my rear signals to incorporate a running light function but it isn't legal in My state to have amber lights on the rear.

Mike, I'm pretty sure that exactly the same shape and sized lenses were also use on Land Rovers of the era for both winker and stop / tail. here's an example on EBay.

I have a friend with a Defender. I can ask him to measure one on Monday.
