What is the published tread depth?Anyone tried these?
Shinko SR999 tires
They have a 110/90 19 that should work for the rear and a 100/90 for the front![]()
110/90 19 is what I run on the rear and its a perfect fitWill a 110/90 19 fit ok
Yrs, indeed. I ve run them on my Kawasaki Versys 650 for a few years. They ate very good street tire, decent wear, and rain use is decent. They have performed better than the OEM Dunlops....all major tire companies make lower end tires. Think is good bang for the buck(s)...I don't have the 999s but have used the 712s on many bikes, currently on my Suzuki GS1100E and just put on my Laverda 3C. They are good tires and come in the sizes I need. All my bikes have limited choices including the N15CS, and Shinko makes what I need. They are quite a good deal at $80-90 each, but I'd run them even if they cost more. I can't tell them from the Avons and Bridgestones I've used in recent years, but I'm just a casual street rider and don't ride in the rain. All this to say that Shinko is a trustworthy choice.
