Nowt wrong with sleeping with a brace of Ridgebacks… just don’t make any sudden movements or loud noises…

Cafe,Not used as a lubricant more an anti-corrosion. I don’t spray, only smear with a cloth![]()
This thread is going to the dogs....Beautiful dogs Zef and FE. Sammy, It's been 20 years since he passed. He looked like a Ridgeback , but didn't have the ridge. That's probably why the breeder discarded him. I trained him to attack, but he was gentle with kids and small dogs. He clocked in at 120 lbs, never lost a dog fight. When attacked by Pitbulls, Rottweilers, and Shepards. Walked by my side without a leash.
We need to rename tis thread " What did you do with your Ridgeback today"?![]()
I suggest you unwrap the plants in this heatAll prepared to deliver my 2 big plantys to Caledon swamp , wrapped up tight , ( we are allowed 4 for personal use ) , then fired up the Norty to swing around to pick them up , smelled gas . Trip over . In this heat 31 to 33 C. the carb gaskets expanded and all had to be tightened up . Good . Invited to BBq at dark .
Immediate move to unwrap after aborting trip . Gas valve shut off first . They are in full sun in 33 C. , reaching for the sky . Early evening shade I tightened up everything on the carbs . Walked to BBQ for hamburgers ( I brought Elk steak for them to try . ) . No gas leaks today .I suggest you unwrap the plants in this heat
Cool. Hope they are Jill's and not Jack's and get nice and bushyImmediate move to unwrap after aborting trip . Gas valve shut off first . They are in full sun in 33 C. , reaching for the sky . Just received my order today from A.N. ( 4 days delivery to my front door .) Interpol handlebars in it .
Spotted one of your magnificent bikes in Guérande back in June during the INOC rally; I thought others here would be interested. No, Café au Lait wants to strip it NOW because the sprocket spacer can be moved independently meaning the sprocket itself is no longer tight on the sleave gear which over time will ruin the splines on the sleeve gear. So a wise decision to re-torque the sprocket nut now.
Margie,Last week, led a club run through the redwoods. Noticed that Norton's clutch was getting gummy, would not shift into easily into neutral. 165 miles anyway. This week, mechanic has some time for my bike so Norton to mechanic. Gearbox leaking from the back, sticky clutch. Clutch cable was getting worn, clutch hub ditto, front sprocket worn. Ca-ching! It's only money....
I try to do as much as I can on Norton, but I don't have space for a lift, I am really bad at diagnosing what is wrong, and my repair skills are getting better, but have a long way to go. So I pay the mechanic and try to learn as much as I can.
I bet that bag strapped to your forks enhances the handling no endHad a nice ride after float adjust, inspecting and syncing Premiers. Loving it since changing to 19 tooth from 21 this season. Didn't seem right with the 21 being a Combat.
Thanks for your concern but the bag is loosely attached and floats. The bag does not affect handling.I bet that bag strapped to your forks enhances the handling no end![]()
Don't let that hold you back, I've never had a lift and don't intend to get one, sitting on a cushion on the floor works for everything you'd ever need to do.... I don't have space for a lift ...
a lifting table was one of the best things I ever bought, worth every £. Can't imagine doing work on my bikes without it. I usually keep a bike parked on the thing, so it doesn't 'waste' floor space when it isn't in use.Don't let that hold you back, I've never had a lift and don't intend to get one, sitting on a cushion on the floor works for everything you'd ever need to do.
Although, after half an hour of sitting cross-legged on the floor, it does now take a while for my legs to straighten up, several Amazon drivers must have though I'd filled my pants when I've rushed to the door to collect a package
