OK Now what? I guess you were getting your cases blasted with plastic media? I use walnut shells it works very well on aluminum cases. I fear glass beads will not all clean out and cause problems later.

I used soda blasting on my cast aluminum engine / gearbox stuff on my Commando. Cheap Harbor Freight blast cabinet. ( leaks at every joint ) Here is a pic when it was fresh -
