Good numbers, and they don't have a choice it seems. If they don't deliver then they can always refund or tempt buyers with a 'holdover' for the new model.

No thanks, and if I was ever near tempted it would be for a very very early bike as they are starting to look like the better model.
Makes sense, clear the shelves of V4 parts. Better assembled into bikes and sold than sat on shelf taking up space and costing money.
my complete guess is that they have sold so many 961s with the £69 offer that they can’t keep up, for whatever reasons, so are regrouping. At least it has got non- Norton people’s attention!

Apparently additional service staff are being hired, but it’s a legitimate concern. Some patience may be required - nothing new there for modern Norton enthusiasts.My concern with this offer especially the numbers that have apparently been sold is the dealers getting them serviced in a reasonable timeframe; I can foresee a bottleneck especially for the 1st service and thus frustrating owners. Owners won’t be permitted to service themselves and I also fear every blemish with be insisted upon a dealer repair at considerable cost.
The saying goes; if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. For some that are short of funds and think they will walk away with nothing to pay may be in for a bit of a surprise but I sure do hope not.
