That article is very revealing....how the dynamics in the task force meeting are failing badly. You've got a finance guy and room full of stooges arguing about "scientific" data and the meaning, while the actual science folks (2 or maybe 3) can't get traction. The correct response from Fauci should have been "What exactly is your relevant experience for reviewing scientific data Mr. Navarro?" Navarro is Trump's economy guy, whose resume is from FOX news financial analysis shows.

It's a shame this whole "non-essential" worker thing doesn't include white house staff...

Can we just send Trump and co. Home for a little? Let the experts deal with this mess?

I am watching a sports commentator show, The Herd. One of the guests made the comment, in regards to the way the US is handling the pandemic, that we are a big dumb country, led by a big dumb guy. South Korea, Germany and even China really put the brakes on this COVID-19 while the virus here in the US is still gaining steam.
 
Yup , sad to watch our neighbours to the South being given no reliable advice or receiving any real survival support from their Federal leaders .... with a very disjointed response to any calamity usually you end in disaster , the world is watching in fascinated trepidation ... sure hope things turn around soonest for your Country ......

The latest is, the Donald is inflating projected death numbers so he looks better when the figures turn out smaller.

For those of you who decry politicians and are happy we have a "businessman" at the helm, Trump has done next to nothing non-politically motivated since he announced his candidacy. We have a true businessman at the helm in Illinois and he and a few other governors are doing more to stop the spread of the virus than Trump and his "heroes" ever will.
 
I just read he had 8 of his bullshit rallies and played golf 6 different times AFTER being informed about Covid-19 by his own Secretary of Health and Human Services. Party on, Don.

Toadies evidently don't NEED previous relevant experience to get a job in the Trump admin, just the ability to smile and nod whenever the Orange One makes one of his outlandish pronouncements. One wag called his son-in-law the "Alt-Right Pinocchio"

The last two presidents winning the presidency while losing the popular vote, Shrub Bush and Trump, have performed poorly with disasters. Bush with hurricane Katrina and now Trump. Both were failed business men, too.

Time for the voter to decide the presidency, not an antiquated electoral college. The electoral voters (electors) are not bound by the results within their state. In other words, the electors can put someone in the White House who loses not only the popular vote, but loses the electoral majority, too.
