I think a fairer description would be they're a bit shite. I went for fixed position pegs on mine, in preparation for a track day or two.

Had these made up years ago for my Sport model..A Ducati specialist called Brancato did them.

Ok,couldn’t wait. Yes they do fit and the original ones had been glued on.
Not sure why unless the glue was used a lubricant. The quality is not up to Honda or Yamaha standards but will do the job.
They will just not last as long.

Wasn't there a company named Zero Limits that made carbon components for the Dominator?

I have talked with the Chinese company that made the Dominator Carbon seat unit for Norton.
They said they can’t do it for me because the mold is Norton property, but if I will provide them a letter of approval from Norton they will do it with pleasure…
Or that I can pay for making a mold and they will do it with pleasure also…

We can do it if we will have around 5 or more that wants a Dominator seat also.

Maybe open a thread and see who wants to be in?

I suppose the Norton company, while no longer making the Dominator, realizes the asset value that the mold represents to existing Dominator owners. Why wouldn't they agree to taking orders from owners for the carbon components, and then having the Chinese company make the units? Kind of a special order, and service for legacy Dominator owners. That would build good will between customers and the factory, no?

They made for the previous late 961 and they are making all the carbon parts for the “new” TVS 961

Of course, we can only wish they will do it for us… But as they said they don’t care about us.

By the way, the mold is not expensive. If we have 6 guys that wants it we can get it cheaper than Norton price.
