True Simon, the receivers/administrators/liquidators are charged with firstly finding the truth of the situation, determining the wealth in terms of bank balance and assets and then reporting back to their employee - the company (Metro Bank) that employed them. Only at that point are they able to go public, to do so before then is a breach of contract and trust.
Dannyy does have a point but he, like the rest of us will have to wait.
When an entity that I am passionate about went into administration, all sorts of claims came out the woodwork - primarily from ex employees who were being questioned by the administrators.
Probably where the report of the expensive vehicles came from
BDO - we note x vehicles are on the asset sheet - where are they located
Employee - no idea
Employee to press - BDO looking for x vehicles.....
Unfortunately SG has so many skeletons hidden away from other companies that rumour is rife

The press are only doing what SG did to us all for 10 years it appears, polishing turds and selling them as Diamonds mate......!!
 
It's all getting a bit heated over something none of us can give a definitive answer to. Undoubtedly people have lost money and weather that was a deliberate action or desperation from some one who wanted to keep a dream afloat, only time will tell. I for one admire his balls just getting the first one to market, and will continue to enjoy my flawed piece of "character engineering" unlike a lot of Forum Members who rather sensibly refused to part with their hard earned because they could see the future of Norton. I await the Tirade:D

I don’t believe these new faces here even have a 961 or V4 bike.
I’m not saying their opinions don’t count, I’m saying if you don’t have a 961 why not take your arguments to the classic pages?

We are all Norton people here. I own an 850 Commando. I guess that doesn’t give me a right to be in this part of the forum. Sorry for you...in a number of ways.

Forum says "Modern", I must have missed the "961 Owners Only" sign on the door... does that rule apply to ex-961 owners too?

Okay...sometimes we don’t get sarcasm. I have been following the saga because of my love of the Norton brand and this all is a very sad situation. Mr. Dreer wanted to bring the brand back...he put his heart, soul and a lot of money into it. Hard to fault him for that. Maybe he shouldn’t have given it to SG.
 
Maybe there should a membership vote for keep or remove this minority forum and keep the site as it was started, for Norton Commando's... or make donation compulsory for all these rich 961 people.
