I took a ride to one of the clubs that has live blues bands on Sunday afternoons good beer and blues, surprised when I got there that is was an event day and they had several vendors and a couple hundred bikers, nearly all Harleys
Thunder Roads was one of the vendors and the ladies agreed to pose for a photo.
The band was pretty good as well

it is a sad fact that most bike events are over loaded with Harley Ferguson's. same thing when I mention I am going for a motorcycle ride the usual response from some twit is "oh you have a Harley" to which my answer is "no I have a motorcycle".
also a shame for some pretty gal to mess her self up a bunch of ink. oh well looks like scooter trash now.

Last ride of the season. We left with damp roads from an early-morning rain. Of the eleven bikes that showed up, I was the only one on a British bike. Granted, the flat-head HD with side hack was pretty cool!
The '72 Yamy was nicely set off by the Fall colors.
'Happy to report that the Norton ran the seventy miles without a hitch. That was even with ten miles of rain late in the ride.
So, now it's off to the shed for a long winter's nap, with a 3-phase and re-sleeved master cylinder in the planning.

Here is my Norton racer just after engine rebuilt, last May. Slimline featherbed, box swingarm, belt primary, Pazon ignition, PW3 camshaft, Black Diamond valves with special springs, polished alloy conrods, lightened rockers, seriously modded crankshaft, Dunstall exhaust, etc...a LOT of fun to ride:

Just bought this beauty after 27 years of owning my last Norton. Its good to be back.

Winter is fast approaching here so sadly the 3 Nortons have been locked away for the winter. Usually I have the 2 projects to stare at in the basement and the Combat winters in a corner of the garage. But this year with building a house and getting my current house ready for sale, all my toys have been packed into a 10 X 20 storage unit. Spring and New house completion can't come soon enough.
