It’s a Clubman Racing Accessories bracket. Really nice guy to deal with, good service and a quality part.

Oui, il est porteur de Comète CRAVEN et bagages CRAVEN et il n’y pas touchent le peashoters, il y a 4-5 centimètres entre mais uniquement avec le bagage CRAVEN.

Hi all.
New member here, just recommissioned an ex US 1973 850 Commando. There may be a picture attached as it is now. The bike came with a 79-80 Arizona Western College decal on the front mudguard, it's suffered the ravages of time a little bit but it's part of the bikes history so I have left it in place. Again hopefully there will be a picture attached, I'm wondering if anyone on this forum attended the college at this time?

Hmmmm....just sitting here wondering (oh yeah, 71 days until redeployment back to the US of A!!!!!) why there is no "post a picture of your Norton" thread on this forum. Am I missing some area of the forum that folks can post a pic of their Commando instead of on random threads? Seems it would be easier to devote one thread to this topic exclusively sort of like over at the Britbike forum. Just a suggestion.
I am a noob to this forum so just tell me to shut my pie hole if it has been discussed before (it probably has). I for one would really enjoy checking out owner photos of the most legendary of ALL british bikes...NORTON COMMANDO.
Hello, I have a 1971 Norton 750 Commando. Have an issue with oil coming out of the air intake. There is an overflow tube running into there (not sure why it was designed like that but oh well) I fired it up for the first time this season a couple weeks ago, took it for a spin and everything was fine. Went for a little ride around the block the other day and oil started streaming out of this overflow tube. Any thoughts what is causing that?

I have an issue you may be able to help me with... I have a 1971 Norton 750 Commando. I fired her up a few weeks ago for the first short ride of the season and everything seem to be working just fine. I took her out a few days ago for a quick ride around the block, after a little bit there was oil streaming out of the over flow tube in the air cleaner (not sure why it was designed to come out of there but oh well... anyway I did not add any oil so, I am wondering what might be causing this? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Perhaps because the oil tank was over filled. Never add oil to the oil tank
until after running the engine for a short period to insure that all of the oil
in the sump has been returned to the oil tank. Norton are known for "wet
sumping" in which the oil in the oil tank slowly seeps past the oil pump and
collects in the bottom of the engine. Lots of posts on the subject on this forum.

Early summer evening run out with the Essex NOC to the Norton Pub in Cold Norton, Essex. Some good looking commandos, including a JPN special, as well as some other classics - 650 SS, Dominator 600, a special 850 with custom fastback styling - aluminium.
