@Shep57 & @daveforty , do you guys kick your bikes to TDC when you park it up? Getting the pistons (rods) right up there seems to help.
I have found it slows the rate a fair bit - 2 weeks and only a third of the high-low range on the dipstick.

I haven't knowingly done that, but I see why it is worth doing. A (late) new years resolution....
 
I’ve always loved the month of May as it usually means, in the UK at least, the start of some warmer weather. We’ve been lucky again this year though as April has been good again.
Anyway, here’s another reason for me to like May this year.

My old MK 3, low milage, only 7k miles, I first spotted it in the 1980's parked up in a collection and it stuck in my mind, a few years back I was looking for a project to do with my dad, he had Dementia and I was his carer, when this turned up still owned by the family that had the collection. So it was bought and recommissioned then I started to realise that low milage bikes are pretty pointless as you can't really use them without ruining its low milage feature. Still it was an OK bike, I still prefer 750's
