Ride out to South Head today. Nice twisties, no traffic.
Bike is looking nice, Dave. Keep those miles accumulating sans issues, eh?(Dave's Yellow Peril"
Just saying hi! New to me late 72 Commando, spent 650 miles and 2 ferry rides in the van purchasing it. Kinda thought it was a rider, but not so much, oh well. (Lying) Pic after some cleaning and taken at the just right angle
. I'm back in the fold after a 40 year absence, my last Norton was a "late 72 Commando" also. A good friend has THAT bike in beautiful condition. Hoping I can achieve rideable for this summer. Then dig into getting her looking and running as she should over winter. Prolly keep it mostly stock with a few reliability, quality of ride tweaks.
